Collection: Soft Plastic Lizards

Why Soft Plastic Lizards Catch Big Bass

Soft plastic lizards are one of the most underrated yet deadly effective Bass fishing lures—especially during the spawn and post-spawn seasons. Their long tails and multiple appendages create irresistible movement that mimics salamanders and small reptiles, which are natural predators of Bass eggs. This makes Bass instinctively aggressive toward them.

Use soft plastic lizards in shallow beds, weed lines, or around laydowns and stumps. Rig them Texas-style for a weedless presentation, or Carolina-rigged to cover more water in medium depths. Choose natural greens and browns in clear water or black and junebug in murky water. Retrieve slowly with subtle twitches to trigger reaction strikes from bedding or territorial Bass.

If you're targeting trophy-sized Bass, soft plastic lizards should be in your tackle box—especially in spring!
